North Dakota Foreclosure Listings
People quite often over look the state of North Dakota when they are considering places to live. To many it is too far out of the way and at first look doesn’t seem to offer much for people to entice them to move there.
Granted there are a lot of wide-open spaces here and the northern border of the state is at the Canadian border so the winters here can be brutal both with the amount of snow and the low temperatures that blow in from Canada.
But those are precisely the qualities that many people consider to be one of the prime advantages of living here. Solitude and the ability to do what you want without fear of having issues with your neighbors is a great reason to come here.
There is a large amount of Native Americans here and the flat and grassy plains easily put people at ease and in the mind of the old west. If you are a fan of TV shows, the eastern portion of the state was often featured in the hit Michael Landon series, Little House on The Prairie. So if you liked the landscape in the show, you’re going to love the actual area.
For those interested in the night life and the ability of jobs you would need to look into the larger cities in the state which means you should be looking at the demographics on the cities of Fargo, Bismarck and / or Grand Forks since they are the three largest metropolis areas in the state.
When looking into the areas of North Dakota foreclosure listings and considering a move into the area, the lender has to give the borrower at least a 30-day notice that they are going to file. During that time the borrower has the chance to bring the load current and to rectify the mortgage. If he or she does not manage that, then after the actual filing, there are 90 days for the foreclosure to be completed.
If the property is sold, the borrower actually still has one year to redeem the property and bring the loan current.
